The tour starts at the beautiful Herradura base just 10 minutes from Jaco Beach and Los Sueños Marriott Costa Rica. Once you arrive, you will saddle up and depart on your journey to the waterfalls and swimming pools. Along the way, you will see beautiful farms and get a closer look at nature as you start ascending through the rain forest. You may be able to spot some great wildlife such as Toucans, Scarlet Macaws and White Faced Monkeys. Upon arrival to the swimming pool area, your bilingual guide will offer you fresh fruit and water and you will have some time to relax and enjoy the waterfalls and natural slide.

This trip includes a short hike to some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the area. In the rainy season (May through December), you will encounter big-water Class III rapids with roller coaster type waves and in the dry season (January through April) expert guides will be there to help you navigate the rapids. Other river tours are available.

What to Wear/Bring: It is important to wear sandals that will stay on in the water or any type of shoe that you can get wet, towels, waterproof camera, sunscreen, and a change of clothes to make your ride home more pleasant.
