Surf Lessons

Jaco, Herradura and Hermosa provide some of the best waves in Costa Rica; so whether it is long boarding for beginners or learning how to perfect your 360-degree launch, the environment and teachers are just a phone call away. All you need is the desire to learn. We will set up a one on one lesson with the top surf school in the area. Specializing in first-timers, beginners, children and even older adults, you will have standing up on a surfboard by your first lesson.

•  Price: $55.00 per person (private lessons) 
• Tour includes: Surfboards, rash guards, ISA & Lifeguard Certified Instructors, bottled water and transportation. 
• Tour Duration:Classes are 2 hours, board rentals are 24 hours 
• What to Wear/Bring: Swimsuit, shorts, walking shoes and sunscreen. No need to bring your camera as they have the latest equipment to take your photos catching a wave.

Be prepared to tackle the challenging terrains when you explore unpaved roads, rustic towns, extensive transitional forests, water crossings and cattle ranches on this ATV tour. Your automatic transmission, 4-wheeler is easy and safe to operate; even riders with no prior experience can enjoy the ride. Note: Tours offered for all levels and semi-automatic vehicles are available.

Aerial Tram & Tranopy

The attractions and activities in this exciting tour include the Rainforest Aerial Tram, Tranopy Zip Line, Bird Watching, Family Tour, Serpentarium, and Trekking Tour. Each of these expeditions showcases the wonder of Costa Rican nature with unique eco tours. The Aerial Tram features 18 gondolas that transport a maximum of 9 passengers each including one bilingual (English/Spanish) naturalist guide for a tour to the canopy and the rich ecosystem of Costa Rican rain forests.

• Price: $60.00 per Adult / $ 30.00 per child under 10 (Aerial tram). $75.00 per Adult / $ 45.00 per child under 10 (Tranopy tour)

The tour starts at the beautiful Herradura base just 10 minutes from Jaco Beach and Los Sueños Marriott Costa Rica. Once you arrive, you will saddle up and depart on your journey to the waterfalls and swimming pools. Along the way, you will see beautiful farms and get a closer look at nature as you start ascending through the rain forest. You may be able to spot some great wildlife such as Toucans, Scarlet Macaws and White Faced Monkeys. Upon arrival to the swimming pool area, your bilingual guide will offer you fresh fruit and water and you will have some time to relax and enjoy the waterfalls and natural slide.
