Why not make this summer’s vacation a trip to Costa Rica?
Costa Rica is one of the best vacation spots imaginable for families with small children and teens. Costa Rica has everything that you could want in a trip: adventure, discovery, rivers, waterfalls, beaches, and cloud forests to explore--it's truly an unforgettable experience!
Costa Rica offers plenty of opportunities for bonding time as well; there are so many moments where everyone can find something they enjoy—whether it be exploring nature or learning about sustainability together.
Not only will your kiddos have fun on their Latin American adventure but they'll also get to learn a little bit of Spanish too. Just by learning how to ask for and say the basics, they’ll be off to a good start: Basic phrases such as please (por favor), thank you (gracias), where is the restroom (donde esta el sevicio?), is there a WiFi hotspot (hay internet?), I’d like (me gustaria), excuse me (disculpe), I have a question (una pregunta …), hello (hola), goodbye (adios) and more will get them learning and loving the Spanish language.
Traveling to Costa Rica will teach your kids to have an open mind and be accepting of new cultures. It’s important that children are exposed to the world beyond their own backyard; expanding your child's horizons can help them learn about patience, expectation, culture subtleties, and so much more!

Tortuga Island is a jewel of Costa Rica. The island, also known as Isla Tortuga, one of the two islands that make up the Biological Reserve off of Nicoya Peninsula in North Puntarenas Province.
Although overnight stays are not routinely done on this beautiful little gem, day tours provide visitors with an opportunity to experience its magic.
Take a catamaran from Los Sueños Marina and sail off to the beautiful Tortuga Island, known for its pristine white sandy beaches and tranquil crystal blue waters.
