Herradura Beach

Playa Herradura is a sleepy little fishing village that, up to ten years ago, was frequented only by backpackers and locals. Still quiet, the fishing village remains, but the calm waters of Herradura bay now serve the Los Sueños Marina as well as the exclusive Los Sueños Resort Beach Club

Located in the Northern area of the Puntarenas province, along the country’s central Pacific Coast, Herradura is less than an hour and fifteen minutes from Juan Santamaria International Airport in San Jose. 

A superb black sand beach with aqua green waters and a palm tree-lined shore, the Herradura Beach of today is a tourist hotspot that is ideal for those who want to get away from the hustle of downtown Jaco.
